Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 invites the whole COMMUNITY to come together and embrace a shared role in creating a nurturing, FAMILY-FRIENDLY EMIRATE. 

The theme of the Week highlights the importance of active participation, co-creation, and contribution between government, private sector and the community to build a supportive environment where young children can thrive to their full potential.

Together, we aim to

  • Enhance the well-being of babies, children, parents and caregivers.
  • Design inclusive policies and services that meet family needs.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) and its partners will host the 2nd Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week 2025 from 17 - 23 November 2025. 

The Week will serve as a platform for government and private sector partners to co-create and offer enriching experiences and activities for families and young children.

THE ROLE OF ECA AND ITS PARTNERS

The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, with its partners, advances optimal child development from early pregnancy to age 8 through initiatives in health & nutrition, child protection, early education, and family support, all aimed at enabling every child to flourish and reach their full potential.

CEU Event: Assent-Based Practices for Behavior Analysts

Assent in Practice: A Workshop for Behavior Analysts Deepen your expertise in ethical, child-centered practice. This session unpacks assent—how it applies to individuals under 18 and to some People of Determination—and shows what respectful, practical assent looks like in real settings. Speakers will share findings from an ECA-funded three-year research program on assent in early childhood, translating evidence into tools you can use tomorrow: recognizing assent/dissent, adapting procedures, documenting decisions, and partnering with families and teams.
